Jump in muddy. Jump out clean.
Four steps. Warm water. Clean dog. Organic shampoo included. You've got this.
Rock up muddy
Arrive straight from the park. The muddier the better — we've seen things that would make a vet weep. No appointment needed, no membership required.
Tip: bring a lead. Enthusiastic dogs and open wash bays are a combination.
Tap to pay
Hold your card, phone, or watch to the reader. £8 for small dogs, £10 for medium, £12 for large. The bay unlocks, the warm water starts, and you're in business.
Tip: contactless only. We don't do cash — this is the 21st century.
Wash your dog
Warm water, organic shampoo and conditioner provided. Use the handheld shower head to work from paws up. You get a 10-minute bay, with a top-up available if you need more time.
Tip: start with the paws. They're the worst bit and you know it.
Dry & go
A warm dryer is included. Give them a good blast, clip the lead back on, and walk home with a dog that won't ruin the sofa. Job done.
Tip: they will shake. Stand back.
What's included
Everything except the dog.
Questions we've been asked
Fair enough.
What size dogs can use the wash?
All sizes. Small rate (£8) covers terriers, dachshunds and small pups. Medium (£10) covers spaniels, Labradors and collies. Large (£12) covers shepherds, goldens and anyone who's ever knocked over a child at the park.
Do I need to book in advance?
No booking, no app, no membership. Just turn up. You get a 10-minute bay, with a top-up available if your dog needs longer.
What if my dog hates water?
Moral support is free. The wash still costs from £8. Most dogs come round once the warm water starts — it's considerably nicer than a cold garden hose.
Is the shampoo safe for all dogs?
Yes — we use organic, pH-balanced shampoo and conditioner. If your dog has a specific skin condition, bring your own and use the station's water and dryer.
How much does it cost to run?
About 60p a wash — covered by roughly one wash a day. The rest is yours (or your park's).
